Casino payment methods compared: cards, crypto, e-wallets and bank transfers

Most payment-method comparisons on casino sites come with a neat table of withdrawal speeds: "under 10 minutes", "1-3 days", "instant". Those figures are rarely measured. Usually they are copied from a cashier page or simply made up, and an earlier version of this article contained exactly such a table. This version does two different things instead: it explains what actually decides how fast and how expensive a casino payment is, and it lists what Felistra itself publishes about its cashier - and what it does not.

What decides how fast a withdrawal arrives

A withdrawal passes through three stages, and only one of them depends on the payment method you pick.

  • Approval at the casino. The request sits in a pending queue, the account may be checked for verification status and bonus terms, and larger or unusual requests may be reviewed by hand. This stage is usually the longest, and it is the same whichever method you use.
  • Processing on the payment rail. The casino's payment provider sends the money through the card network, the blockchain or the e-wallet system.
  • Receipt on your side. Your bank posts the card credit, your wallet waits for the required number of blockchain confirmations, or your e-wallet credits the balance.

A "fast" method only shortens the second and third stages. It does not speed up a casino's internal review, which is why a method advertised as instant can still take days in practice.

How the main method types differ

The table below describes how these systems typically work. It is general, not specific to Felistra, and fees and timings vary by provider and country - check your own bank or wallet.

MethodHow a payout travelsWhere fees usually come fromPoints to watch
Debit and credit cardsBack to the card through the card network; your bank posts it on its own scheduleSome issuers treat gambling payments on credit cards as cash advances, with a fee and interest from day oneSome banks block gambling transactions altogether; the UK has banned credit cards for gambling since April 2020
CryptocurrencyTo a wallet address on the chosen blockchainNetwork fees that change with congestion, plus the spread when converting to or from your own currencyTransfers are irreversible, a wrong address or network means lost funds, and the price can move between request and receipt

What Felistra's own documents say about payments

On 4 October 2026 we read the operator's terms and its KYC & AML document. They set out rules rather than a menu of methods:

  • Withdrawal limits: minimum $1; maximum $100 per transaction, $100 per day, $500 per week and $1,000 per month, in US dollars "or equivalent".
  • Routing: crypto deposits can only be withdrawn in crypto, and withdrawals go back to the deposit method up to the amount deposited. Each withdrawal method "can carry its own maximum per-transaction limits".
  • Verification: full KYC is required before any withdrawal, and also for deposits of $10,000 or more.
  • Reviews: the operator may split withdrawals into instalments and lower or freeze limits during a review that it aims to complete within 30 calendar days; limits may be raised after enhanced verification.

The method list itself comes from elsewhere. In August 2026 third-party casino databases listed Visa and Mastercard plus eight crypto rails - Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, Tron and USD Coin - and no e-wallets or bank transfer. The same databases quoted instant deposits and withdrawals within three banking days. We could not confirm any of that in the operator's documents.

What we could not find

  • A list of payment methods in the operator's own documents.
  • A fee schedule: whether the casino charges anything per deposit or withdrawal, and who pays the crypto network fee.
  • The exchange rate or spread used for crypto or other currencies.
  • Any standard processing time, overall or per method.

One more caveat: the password prompt that blocked the casino's website from 12 August 2026 is gone, but on 4 October 2026 the site showed "Not available in your location" from both places we could test, Ukraine and the United States, so we could not open the cashier itself. If you can reach it, read the cashier and the terms before depositing rather than relying on anyone's summary, including this one.

Why Felistra's caps change the arithmetic

A per-transaction cap turns one payout into several, and any fee charged per payout is then charged several times. A worked example, with an assumed fee: if a method cost a flat $2 per payout - an assumption for the arithmetic, not a Felistra figure - then taking $1,000 out in one payment would cost $2, while taking it out as ten $100 requests would cost $20. At Felistra the daily and weekly caps add time as well: $100 a day and $500 a week mean $1,000 needs at least two weeks, and $1,000 is also the monthly maximum. With crypto there is a further effect: each request is converted at its own moment and its own rate. Our article on casino withdrawal limits looks at the caps in more detail.

Verification is the same for every method

Whatever you choose, identity checks come first. Casinos typically ask for a photo ID, a proof of address and proof that the card or wallet belongs to you. Felistra requires full verification before any withdrawal. Two practical points follow: complete verification before you need the money, not after a win, and expect your country of residence to be checked at that stage.

Felistra's terms (section 10, effective 12 March 2026) name Australia, Austria, the Comoros, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States as restricted, plus FATF-blacklisted countries and any other jurisdiction the Anjouan regulator deems prohibited. If you register from a restricted country, the operator can close the account and withhold winnings, usually at the verification stage before a payout. Check the current terms for your country before you deposit, whatever payment method you plan to use.

Frequently asked questions

Which payment methods does Felistra accept?

The operator's terms and KYC document, read on 4 October 2026, do not list the methods. In August 2026 third-party databases listed Visa and Mastercard plus eight crypto rails: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, Tron and USD Coin. Crypto deposits can only be withdrawn in crypto.

Does Felistra charge fees on deposits or withdrawals?

We did not find a fee schedule in the operator's documents, and on 4 October 2026 its website was geo-blocked from the places we could test, so we could not open the cashier. Ask support in writing before you deposit. Your card issuer, the crypto network or your exchange may charge its own fees either way.

Which payment method is fastest at Felistra?

The operator's documents give no standard processing time, per method or overall, and we have no measured payout data, so we cannot rank the methods by speed. What they do set is a pace: $100 per transaction, $100 per day, $500 per week and $1,000 per month.
